On April 6, 1998, a group of professional managers from Dutch multinational Philips Electronics incorporated KASSEL Ventures Phils., Inc. Coming from complementary fields ranging from sales and marketing to human resources, finance, manufacturing and quality management, the team of 8 wanted to apply all the skills learned from Philips into their own company.
And so it was that the team’s expertise in OEM (original equipment manufacturing) was put to the fore. Alan L. Lee, former vice president & general manager of the Consumer Products (Appliance) Division of Philips Philippines (where he worked for 30 years), spearheaded the entire start up process that encompassed product sourcing and selection, quality assurance testing, importation, packaging and label design, marketing, logistics, product distribution, sales, trade relations and after sales servicing. Thus was born the KASSEL brand of home appliances and Brightlux-LED lights.
Having had the training from a global company has made the company’s management and staff aware of the value of high quality products and excellent customer care which actively encourages our philosophy “Profitability through customer satisfaction.” Moreover, the focus on business success by building and maintaining genuine relationships with customers that have oftentimes resulted in true friendships has been proven to be effective.
